Steve Kirks--Weblogs in business, Radio UserLand, technology and people
Updated: 6/27/06; 11:57:23 AMMark Cuban notes that he doesn't own a boa t, and therefore, couldn't have been asked to remove a banner from one. Before the days of weblogs, the idea that Mark would have been telling the truth would have been called in to question. I mean, who's going to trust the rich guy, right? :)
Now, since he's got a personal outlet with no editor, he's got a way to ensure his side of the story makes it out. It seems like a minor thing to rebut, but in this day and age of highly public personalities and the "court of public opinion", we should all be vigilant to ensure we're protecting our reputation.
